Manford’s Comedy Club returns for the second time this year to put on a live comedy show featuring three hilarious comedians who are well-known names on both the comedy circuit and television and are all personally chosen by Jason.



Andy Fury
Andy Fury is a bright young stand-up comedy talent. Having won the prestigious Hilarity Bites ‘New Act of the Year’ competition in 2010, the comedian from Newcastle has travelled the country performing his jokes alongside the likes of Sarah Millican, John Bishop and Jason Manford.

Despite starting comedy out of ‘sheer boredom’… Andy Fury has impressed a lot of people in a short space of time with a wonderful mix of self-deprecating dark jokes and off the wall surrealism.

Mike Newall
Local Stockport lad, Mike Newall is such a charming and laid-back comedian with well-crafted jokes and a wonderful dry delivery.

Observational comedy at its best with razor sharp timing combined with a keen sense of dark sarcasm.

Pete Selwood
Only starting comedy in March 2016, Pete Selwood is an new up and coming comedian on the circuit, combining observational humour with his unique perspective as a minor disabled man in modern Britain.

This Chester based Yorkshire comedian is proving to be an excellent  storyteller has started strongly in the world of stand up.

Gareth Berliner
Gareth Berliner appeared in Coronation Street sporadically between October 2014 and August 2017 as Macca, a friend of Callum Logan.

He is a stand-up comedian and actor who has performed at clubs and comedy fringe festivals, both nationally and internationally. His other television credits include Dr Who, The Bastard Executioner and EastEnders, along with the film Brimstone.

Gareth has been performing stand-up comedy for 8 years professionally and performs all over the UK and  Europe.
