"This polished production ensures young and old enjoy festive entertainment"
- Berwick Advertiser on The Adventures of Sinbad 2017

The Maltings fully professional pantomime returns with the most enchanting fairy story of them all! Be whisked away to a glittering world of ball gowns, magical pumkins, glass slippers, magical fairy sparkle and some VERY Ugly Sisters.

Ladies and gentleman, your invitation to the ball awaits...

Produced by the panto-tastic team behind our bestselling pantomime's Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty and The Adventures of Sinbad, this is a must see treat for all the family.

Returning to the stage we've got:
Jonathan Ritchie (who played the title role of Sinbad last year) as Prince Reginald.

Our fabulous Dame, Euan McIver, and the hysterical Mark Vevers (Professor Piranhia, the Fiendish Fishfinger in Sinbad) are Cinderella's two ugly step-sisters Barbie & Star Tartington.

The unstoppable Wendy Payn (writer, director and starring actress of The Maltings' Pantomimes') is back as the wicked step mother, Toxie Tartington.

Ross Graham (who's been in every pantomime at The Maltings) is back as the loveable Buttons.

John Stenhouse (Handsome Prince in Sleeping Beauty) returns as The King of Hearts.

And last but not least, Georgia Fordyce makes her debut performance at The Maltings as our beautiful princess, Cinderella.

On any other night, at any other time,
Cinderella's wish would have turned out fine,
But the clock is ticking and it's starting to chime,
Book your ticket's now to the Pantomime...

"The Maltings has pulled it off again putting on a performance of warmth and humour which is perfect for the festive season... As any good panto should do, it delivered on multiple levels. There was silliness and slapstick for the youngest spectators, many enjoying their very first experience of live theatre, while there were clever lines, a little innuendo and plenty of local references to keep the mums, dads and grandparents entertained..." - Berwick Advertiser on The Adventures of Sinbad 2017

"My children were giggling away and loved joining in the actions, screaming at the stage and admiring the fake snow falling from the ceiling. As far as they were concerned the holidays had started and the party was just beginning" - Berwick Advertiser on Sleeping Beauty 2016

"The Maltings’ very own Christmas production was very cheeky, but very fun and every child in the audience went away with a smile on their face. As I was leaving, one little boy said: “That was the best thing I’ve ever seen”." - Berwick Advertiser on Little Red Riding Hood 2015
